Charter cancelled earyl week so put together a crew for some fun fishing. Headed out to 170’ and started getting lines in. Trolled for a little while before hooking first Dolphin…ended up putting 3 in the box pretty quick. Trolled some more and put a few more in the box but tried pushing out to 250’ to escape boat traffic…nothing doing out to 250’ so we came back in. Put a few more in the box & lost a Wahoo near the boat…had 3 more cutoffs and the bite slowed. Tried some Grouper jigging but only found Jacks. Dave got a ton of crap for not being able to man handle the AJ…we were shocked to see the size of this one…could not revive it so put it on ice. Should have weighed this one…guessing close to 100 lbs. Ended up with 10 Dolphin in the box. Adam and Kevin did one dive and put two nice Gags in the cooler. Overall it was a fun day on the water and made it home safely.
