Left SI 0500 and was met by an angry confused ocean until about 10 miles out at least for my 25 footer. Hitched a ride behind Daymaker for the last 25 miles (Thanks Bobby) anyway… fished in about 300 feet all day insore of the 380 hole. Picked at them all day with No boats around. Ended up with 12 Gaffers, 4 slingers and a Pnut maybe lost 4 or 5. Pnut was 1st fish of the day and foul hooked so we kept him. Checked a secret special place on the way home and picked up a nice 45 lb Cobia but his very large sister would not take the bait so went home. The ocean got nicer and nicer as the day went on. Cruised home around 34kts beer in hand.
Oh hot colors were pink and white, and the bleeding dolphin. All lehi, thanks to Mr Squitch himself. I do have to laugh at the poor cow Russel turned to swiss cheese, she just didn’t want to come in our boat.
