5/20, 5/21 trolling

cleared the rocks at 4am Fri morn. under a nice bright moon and 2’seas. crossed the ledge at 5:30 water temp. 69deg, stopped in 350’ 74deg and deployed the spread. 10 fish onboard by 630, lots of small ones. two more knockdowns between 630am and 4pm! fished from just north of the 280 to 16 miles south of the 226 in 1500’. great ride in aboard the sea dog with Capt Jimmy, auggie dog and steve.
rolled out again at 2:00am Sat, headed out with Capt.Eric aboard Mara Lynn, his pop lou, Mr Fleet Pride and waterboy. after clearing the jettys headed a little north looking for warmer water and avoiding the fleet we knew would be camped out at the 226. got into a mess of schoolies in 45o’ and picked at them untill noon. ocean was dead and very slow for us. kept 7 to go under the knife. rolled in on glass at 45kts. stopped in 139’ to try the bottom dwellers. hooked up with bsb"s and lots of lizzard fish and a 8’ shark on a butterfly jig. again very slow!
stopped in 65’ to shoot some grouper, chase some slippers and call it quits.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
