Ran out to just shy of the 226 hole and picked up 26 dolphin to 25lbs last 7 or so on spinning tackle, done by 1:30, at the dock by 4. Just got sick of catching them and was running out of ice so we left them biting. The bite was so hot they even hit the feather, crazy day, could have kept twice that many or more if we’d wanted. Gave away four fish to my wife’s uncle who can’t fish due to a bum shoulder for a few more weeks before I even got to the house, hence the picture of only 22.

Also, what happened to the facial hair? Did you do it for aerodynamic purposes and now add another knot or two to your cruise speed?

The beard is for warmth in the winter, too hot in the summer, and the kid behind me is the daughter, she wanted me to hurry up and fry her some dolphin.

Hey, I could have kept 50! My daughter is more of a killer than me, every time I take her hunting she wants to shoot everything that walks, crawls or slithers and eat it. Makes me tear up just a little bit just thinking about, God I love that kid.

actually, I didn’t pay much attention to the fish…once you’ve seen one dolphin you’ve seen them all. I’ve never actually seen someone display such a small fish…why didn’t you just rip out all the roe and take a few snapshots with that?
