Left the dock at 3:45 and dropped lines just past the ledge at the ed banks in 225’ just before 6:30. first fish at 280’ then 2nd at 350ish’ and 3rd just past 400’. scattered salad was horrible at 350’! turned around at 450’ thinking we passed the fish and spent the next few hours trying to get em to keep biting which wasn’t too successful. found a semi formed line with a few good mats in 285’ and picked up 4 more on it and called it a day around 1. hit the bottom real quick on the way in and released some nice “soon-to-be-extinct” c-bass. nice ride in and out and no luck with the billfish. no missed fish which was a blessing!
