Fished with Dad, Father-in-law, Lakemurrayviper, James (dont know your handle), and Cliff. Lines in at 7:30 first gaffer hit box at 7:37. It was slow for a while then had all 8 go down of which we got 6, one pulled off and not sure on the other. Bite flat stopped from roughly 11:30-1:30 then we got covered up and made our day. We ended up with 37 phins. Each man got two nice bags of meat. No monsters were caught, but we did have one bull about 25ish. First mate Josh was TOP NOTCH and so was our captain Thomas Rivers . Thanks guys you worked your tails off for us yesterday. Freeman you have one beautiful sled. Even though she is named for a team I loathe :imp: that is a great ride:slightly_smiling_face:. We ran in close to full speed thanks to WONDERFUL WEATHER. Many thanks go out for that trip. Mother nature allowed us to have our best day on the water ever. Flat calm and plenty of fish. Ready to go again! If you guys are looking for a charter call up DawgDue.

2 bags of fish on 37 fish? What size bags, large grocery? Sounds like a great day but man you should come home with more than that unless these guys were 12" long!

12 large bags of filets split by 6 people. Enjoyed the trip a LOT. Stayed out too late at Red’s checking out the new Scout 345 though. Let me know when y’all head down for another trip.

Congrats on the trip! Josh is a good mate… i have a pic of Josh and I holding up a nice sail from about three years ago. It was my first billfish and the only one that I’ve ever boated for a pic!

Hey floridachild what did you catch again this weekend? I know, I know we can’t all be you and run the GT hole in 16’ scout and catch 40+ 35lbers [:0]:face_with_head_bandage:

Lakemurray we had a blast too, and definitely would like to fish with you guys again. Let me know when your heading for the OBX. I doubt we can make it, but if you have room Doug and I might try.
