5-23 Inshore 226

Headed out 4:30 AM lines in just before 7:00 AM. No bites for first hour then double up on two nice dolphin fish with one being a good bull. Overall fishing was slow, but we had spaced out action throughout the day. Just enough time between fish to enjoy some cold beer and company of good buddys. Awesome ocean all day. Headed for the hill 1 PM. Great ride in and out. Biggest bull came off a Pink and Blue Islander sailure. Fished 250’ most of the day. Ended up in 150’ looking for a hoo bite that was not found. Nothing inside 200’. Only color ignored all day was Pink and White. Total 8 dolphin, 2 nice bulls, 1 slinger (released) 1 given away at Remelys to some inshore fisherman who had not caught a thing. I believe I made his day. Didn’t weigh the larger bull. Great time on the big water. Can’t wait to go again.
