Started at the outcrop, and had marlin come through spread and play with right short in 225’ he looked at all our baits swam in and out of spread for a few but would not eat. Pushed out to 550 and picked at the dolphin caught 6, trolled ledge in afternoon and caught 1 wahoo and 1 cuda.
Slow day but ocean was slick as glass.
Did Mark fish with yall? This is his buddy Chris. I tried to raise yall on the radio a few times to see if yall were doing better than us. We did about the same just south of 226. Ended up with 10 gaffers and could have filled every hatch with slingers. Had to run get away from them. Yall get the hoo deep or on top? Your right about slick. Made 40kts out and 42kt back in and never got so much as misted until we got back in the cans.
