Good day now that the barometric pressure increased! Water is 80 degrees and clear 2-4 ft. Caught 6 trout, largest was 20 in and pulled drag! Also had 2 throw back flounders. Used mirrodine, gulp minnow and zoom swimming super fluke. I’m super confident in the zoom swimming fluke and like putting scent in the slot. Problem is trout tare them up. Might have to change to zman if I get into the fish heavy. Fished falling tide. Trout were close to the grass. Lots of people out, jet skies, and high school partiers.

How are you rigging the swimming fluke?

I’m rigging it on a 1/4 ounce jig head. I tie it with a loop knot.

I loved fishing with Zoom Flukes but had to switch to Zman for the same reason. Zman’s work but I do miss the Zoom Flukes…

Grand Slam…What!!! Do you mean at Denny’s! Man do I love pancakes!

I catch virtually everything on Z-Man baits nowadays. Reds, trout, and flounder…

Although not in any of these pictures, our favorite all-around Z-Man is the 3.75 StreakZ family of baits (we love the Smoky Shad !!) fished on a Trout Eye jig tied on a 20# FC leader with a Krek loop knot

Maybe, just once, someone will call me “sir” without adding, “you’re making a scene.”
