Headed out towards SW Banks and dropped the lines at a huge rip and weed line at 140ft. Caught all of our fish from 140-180ft. It was pink/white all day long. I wished I had more but three was all I carried. Anything with pink, they nailed it. My brothers first trip offshore will keep him spoiled for the foreseeable fishing future. Kept 20 gaffer dolphin, the biggest being 31Lbs and the smallest being 12lb. Also had one Wahoo weighing in at a modest 25lbs. Released a few barracuda and two false albacore tuna about 15-20lbs a piece. Fun fight but not so good on the tongue I hear. Had great action all day, we could probably still be catching fish but we had plenty of meat and plenty of fun for the day. Save a few for the next trip. We did have a busy day but it doesn’t get much more fun than that. Im loving my Triton! It ridesas mooth as any 30ft boat I have ebeen in. Never get wet either. It is super dramfishing with tld25’s. I run 8 lines and for the money, in my opinion, you can’t beat them. They are a ton of fun catchin any kind of fish.
