On Friday and Saturday, we fished structure on the creeks on Edisto using fresh cut mullet and big mud minnows on the bottom. Finding bait was tough but we ended up with mullet, shrimp, mud minnows and some menhaden. We caught noting on top.
We had 8 fish on Friday, and got 4 to the boat, and we had 4 fish on Saturday and got 3 to the boat. All of the fish that got away were big fish and way smarter than us. Fished with my friend Robert on Bad To The Bone, a 22’ Bay Scout.
Friday we had 30" 12 pounder, 30" 11 pounder, 27" 8 pounder and a 29" 9.5 pounder (last four photos).
Saturday we had a 27" 10 pounder, 24" 6 pounder, and a 31" 15 pounder (first three photos).
