Left late out of Wappoo Cut to 100’ of live bottom after getting some menhaden out by Morris Island. Long day in that wind, pushed into it knowing we’d have a better ride back in. Fished a few spots and mostly big BSB and B-liners of course, never found my grouper.
Cruised back in at 28 knots and tried some blacktips behind the shrimp boats at the Jetties with no luck.
Next time I’ll get my grouper…
Those grouper seem hard to find.

They were there a couple of weeks ago but I missed the trip…of course this time they weren’t there.
Think we’re going to head to some deeper numbers next time if weather holds out.
