5/27 - Cobes

Went out early on a bumpy ride. Saw fliers everywhere. Got to the spot & was feeding fish like dogs. No other boats around. Jacks came up followed by a cobe. Free lined menhaden & bam fish on. Keep him around & wouldn’t you know cobe #2 showed up. Two in the box so mission accomplished. On the ride back in we made a stop or two & saw plenty more.

Good work! I haven’t seen a single cobia yet. I’m hoping it will come together for me Sunday.

Hard work and determination pays off. Glad you got 'em!

I wish I could take credit, but none of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for my hard working buddy Capt Chris Wilson with Finaddict Charters. He was kind enough to invite me out for a day chasin these brutes on his boat. He displays incredible talent when you put him in his element & boy did he impress!!! I wanted to clairify, cause it’s not as easy for me as I made it sound!!!

Some of the best tasting fish I have ever had the pleasure of eating right there. Big respect for my friend & his willingness to put us on this amazing table fare on his day off!!! Can’t beat great friends & fishing.
