Left around 7am with Black Bart and my buddy from college, made a stop in 60 feet looking for some bottom fish and maybe a willing cobia. At 60 feet was covered up with bsb and ring tails, managed one silver porgy. Wanted to push off deeper but the ocean was looking bad in the morning. Around 11 the ocean seemed calm enough for a little deeper and headed to about 90 feet. Got anchored on some productive numbers from last year and commenced the bottom action. MORE BSB some of the biggest I have ever caught. We caught 2 b-liners and about 70 large bsb.
Some weather started moving in and the ocean got rough we decided to head for the hill. Rough ride in got soaked.
Kept: three man limit of Large BSB and 1 silver porgy.
This BSB limit needs to change, when that is all I am catching in every spot.
Sorry no pics, nothing worthy of it.
