5/3 first trip with new boat

decided that Wednesday was the first and only chance to get out this year so far. put a crew together at the last minute and launched at edisto. like some others pointed out, 4.3’ @5 sec looked like it would be a turn around. left the dock at 5 and didn’t have high hopes until we pointed toward the Ed banks. not a bad ride after all until 100’. little sloppy until the break we were looking for 80mi later. lines in just after 8 on nice weedline and color change. non stop action until the rest of the fleet caught up to us. pused out a bit farther and found a nice fat mat and picked off a small mix of gaffers, slingers and peanuts. picked up at 130 to try for a wahoo at the ledge with no luck. back home by 530. awesome day overall. 16 dolphin

that boat must pull to the left pretty hard having a 150 on one side and a 50 on the other side

all jokes aside, nice report, great catching…what a way to break in the new boat

Nice looking boat and mess of fish. Tried to call y’all but we headed a good bit south and we’re prob out of range. Congrats on the new boat.
