Took the Skint Back out yesterday morning to do some bottom bumping. Captain David Westfall (haha for those that know him), Christopher Conklin, myself, and a green horn Jimmy Maier left out at 4am and got to richmond to jig up some bait just before sunrise. Plenty of bait in the boat in 30 minutes. Headed to some old Loran numbers we had and it was on. We limited out on Grouper Bliners and Pinkies. We also had a mahi and a mixed bag. Chris saw the mahi come up to the boat and was tying a long leader for a grouper reel and threw the leader at the mahi he took it and Chris had to hand line him in. Definately one of the coolest things I have ever seen. We hammered the fish all day. They were everywhere. Grouper ate everything we put down. Live cigars,frozen sardines, cut boston mackeral, shrimp jigs, ect ect… Great day on the water I am at the office as tired as I have ever been on a Monday morning. Here are some pics-
