Started fishing around Edisto Banks in 130’ and hooked up finally in 190’. While fighting the fish we had some guys pull up within 75’ of us come off plane and deploy a spread when they saw us with the fish on. Anyway we headed on out and found a nice slick with some trash in it. Caught the rest of the fish in that area in between 250-300’. Ended the day trolling back in shallow hoping to cut some of the distance off the ride home but only caught cudas. Got our a**es handed to us on the ride back. A couple of miles outside the jetties had a small mackerel jump over the boat and continue to keep jumping along, happy mackerel. Ended the day with 7 dolphin, 3 cudas and about a dozen that got away:roll_eyes:.

sounds like the 3 guys in the black 19’cc with no t-top found you also. I was again reminded of why I usually don’t fish on weekends.

I hope the guys that pulled up close are reading these ■■■■■■■■. We were fighting a bull on Sunday, when a moron in a walk-around/express blown passed us within 10 yards, doing more then 30kts.

It was a sporty that pulled that sh** on us. thanks for the ride Jeff.

The boat looked like an Albemarle(maybe). It was in the 30 something foot range.

Had a yellow scout using same tactics around us.About a 25-30 footer

Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good… but I wanna see it.
