Had a bad start. Brother forgot to put the bait in the boat. Turned around to get it. Got on the 526 Don Holt bridge and it was shut down for a wreck. Backed the boat and took I26. Headed to 226 hole but stopped short. Worked 180’ to 250’ back and forth. Got a stinking cuda and a couple of slingers. Decided to do a little bottom fishing and put a few nice Triggers and some vermillions in the box. A slow day but nice to be on the water.

No to bad once you got started glad you guy’s didn’t get discouraged and call it a day before it you ever got to the water. any day fishing is better than honey do’s or yard work
