Left out of Remley’s @5am. Had ballyhoos in the water @ 190’ at 7:30. Nothing there that was hungry. Came back in to 160’ found a good weed line. - worked the weed line, picked up 4 dolphin in a couple hrs. Moved to Commanche to try for some bottom dwellers - drifted some cigar minnows for Kings. No good on the bottom but picked up a couple nice dolphin on the cigar drift. Moved on the Y73 - picked up a couple more dolphin on cigars difting and a pretty good king. Headed back in at about 2:45…got wet and knocked around pretty good on the way in - back at Remley’s at 4:40
Great trip with both sons ( Dallas \ Trey ) and our good friend ( Ross )…great crew. We’ll do it again soon - we did ok for the first time - we’ll get better at it.
