Headed down to Beaufort to do some fishing with my brother out of Savannah. We fished in the Chechessee River and Hazard Creek. The wind was blowing good. We anchored up at low tide and lost two fish, reels screaming, almost instantly. (**() bait plug came loose and 90% of our mud minnows went down the drain. Caught 2 rays with what bait we had left. Also managed a 2ft alligator gar in the cast net.
The worm was tangled in our anchor. Any idea what it is? Looks like a bristle worm, but I didn’t think they get that big!
