5/6 Trolling South in the weather window

Woke up at 3:30 and 41004 was 25 knots and with mixed storms out there we waited an hour and only 5 knots NW. Long story short, we wish we had gone early and not gotten a late start…which we did. We left folly landing at 7 30 and got to ledge and Rapid Pace had been doing work on the dolphins on a weedline right on royal terrace. That warm water pushed in overnight from saturday day to this am and a nice weedline was fishable until we showed up and wind picked up. It was mostly scattered weeds the rest of the day and fishing was good for a short period and then worked hard for the fish we had. Ocean was 4-6ft at end of day but layed down nice inside of 100ft. Overall good day and very doable ocean as long as running a good angle on it. Ended with 10 dolphin and 1 wahoo around 32-34 lbs and maybe missed 2 knockdowns we didn’t land. Was hoping for 20-30 fish but there is always another day and always happy to learn more in the blue.

I’ll take 10 dolphin and a wahoo any day. Nice job!
