Frustrating day. It was windy, trolling motor wouldn’t work, cheap arse anchor wouldn’t grab anything. I ditched the bay for some cover and put up in a nice quiet creek. I was getting a lot of action on cutbait and frozen shrimp, but they were all small junkfish. I did land one nice trout. He smashed a vudu shrimp.
Trolling motor was a broken wire.

Good job on not giving up! Where was the wire broken?

The VUDU shrimp is my #1 go-to for artificial shrimp. I put a dab of Pro-Cure shrimp scent under the head right at the hook shank and it lasts a long time.
Broke off the back of the receptacle. Tried to fix it when I got home, but it was hot and I was exhausted from being out all day. I can reach the back of the receptacle, but I can’t figure out how to remove it. It’s a pain in the neck for what should be an easy fix.
