Went out towards the 226 and put he spread out in 300 ft and 70F water–started fishing at 7. Caught one immediately. Then nothing for an hour. Kept heading deeper because of all the radio chatter of nice weed lines and a good temp break. Got out to 1200 ft with no action so we turned around and went where all the boats weren’t. At around 10 and in 700 ft one rod goes off, then another, then all 7. Boated 5 with the 3 man crew. Once we got the spread back out we saw some fish busting on top so we hovered around that for the next few hours. Slow but steady action until we picked up and left around 2:30. Lots of spit and pulled hooks, also we had a marlin thrash our entire spread around 1. Most fish caught in 72/73 Deg water. Ended up with 12 and a Bonita.
Great day, nice ocean, and we caught fish.
