Thanks for the post. Fishing in the Morning and never gave the regulation change a second though. Makes for a better day when you can keep fishing if they are hitting.

Amen to that! I’m glad to see the end of the 5&done season. I’ve feel it’s the right thing for the fishery in July and August. For most of June and September, it’s unnecessary.

Could not agree more. I wish they would change it to June 15 thru Sept. 15. I’d be happy with that.

Yeah, it would be nice if they could tie it to a water temperature. When the water is 74 and they are schooling, there is no harm in releasing fish. But I guess this would just complicate it. Much easier to set dates and be done with it.
