anyone know where i can get one local, tired of washing the “toilet” that came with the boat
Get a pool noodle, slit it lengthwise halfway through and put it over the lip of the bucket. Or, Google 5 gallon bucket toilet seat. They show Bass Pro, Wally World, Academy and West Marine as having them.

can you swim 5 miles? “NO” then what is the difference in 5 miles and 50 miles!!! Go for it!
We used to have one on a houseboat in sparkleberry swamp that was just an old toilet seat with screws in the bottom so the seat wouldn’t slide off the bucket. It was a pretty simple concept, really.

In a pinch, all you need is the bucket.

Got mine from west marine. It’s not that expensive if you consider that it lasts forever and is way easier than a potrapotty
Just use the same bucket but before you go line it with a garbage bag and bring the procedes hone for the garden
If you have router just trace the outline of the bucket on a thick wood seat from lowes. Doesn’t take much of a indent… works like a champ

If you can’t go in just a bucket then you didn’t really need to go bad enough to stop fishing.

My Pioneer came with a porta potty. I told the dealer to remove the stinking thing before I picked it up.

I bare bucket trained my wife about 45 years ago. Not going to show her the pool noodle or she’ll want one too That’s a neat idea.

3/4 a one gal antifreeze jug. Stay low in the boat - pull clothes to side. Pour out and rinse. Just good for pee but, my wife won’t go out in boat without it.

My wife and daughter just use the livewell. It drains overboard, just flip on the aerator and it rinses itself. Just don’t let them go #2!
