Does anyone know where I can get a couple 55 gallon drums around town. A friend and I are looking to build some gravity feeders for next season. Would like to get my hands on at least 4-5 of them. Thanks.

Going to Church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
You are the offspring of 5 monkeys having But Secs with a retarded fish squirrel. CONGRADULATION!!!
Guy on craigslist on johns island has a whole yard full of them
I can get all you want for $10 each… Steel 55 gallon drums
A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.
Pitviper, what do I need to do to get one or two?

Just let me know how many you want and when… Be advised that they are not food grade and I will not know what they held before hand, but in most cases, it will be lubercating oil…

ok thanks ill let you know
what kind of lids you going to put on them to make them weather proof?
Be prepared if you go with plastic that the squirrels will chew right through them. Also the steel ones will sometimes “sweat” and will ferment if you have to much in the barrel. I would put the extra money in to an automatic if you can swing it.
clem; I used to make grav. feeders out of 4" black PVC pipe. Buy 10ft
pc. cut in half on a 45 deg.angle. push point into dirt leaving enough
room for corn to flow as eaten. Coffee can will work for cap or buy
caps to fit pipe, tie or strap to tree, ur in business. my 2 cts worth.

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Was just about to post that, but you beat me to it! Squirrels are a pain in the butt! And so is sour corn…
I need a couple of the plastic ones. Anyone have a link to the Johns Island guy?

They also sell the plastic drums with caps at the Ice House in Georgetown. There are about 100 stacked up out there today. I just drove by there.
