6.07.09 -- Marlin Caught and Released pics

I took a group of friends offshore Sunday and dropped lines near the outcrop by 7.30. Picked up 4 dolphin over the next hour. At about 10 am the short rigger went off and we saw Mr Blue dancing! It took about and hour and twenty minutes to bring him along side for release. Estimated the length at 7’ and weight 250-300lbs. It was the 1st marlin on the 40’ Ocean, and the 1st fish on my new Tiagra 50 wide. Topped off the day with 2 more dolphin and a smoothe ride in.
