Fished 7:30-9:30 in 60-85 FOW. Live bait and some chum. Fish were active and feeding. Had the wife and 2 little ones with me and it was all I could do to keep up trying to fish 6 rods. Caught 9, kept 7, short strikes or spit hook and 20-30 more. Going back tomorrow for more. Special thanks and credit to the 3 guys who gave me a starting point and pointed me in the right direction as to what to look for on my map that should be holding fish.
Photo cred to Jason Bennett as I stole the idea for the photo op from his reports.

Good deal on your outing and sure the kids had fun. Just wish you had posted a day earlier. Finally got Patti back on the water, but as we hadn’t seen a report in two weeks, looks like we were just out of sync with the fish. Definitely didn’t see anything of note in Ballentine or Beard’s creek yesterday morning. So I suspect the fish have scattered and time to start going after them deeper. Appreciate the report.
Good catch for just a couple of hours. Looks like the kids had fun.
I’ve never tried it at night but would like to. My wife’s not too keen on the idea of me being out there in the dark by myself.

Pattianne fish are mostly deep now from everyone I’ve heard from and from the results I had last couple times pulling u-rigs as deep as 40’ with little success. If you have Facebook, go and like Jason bennetts guide service. He’s a wealth of info. Happybob, try humps surrounded by deep 130’+ water from the backside of Shull to the backside of spence. My wife also hates the lake at night. It doesn’t bother her much me being there but the kids and her is a different story. Hope this helps
