6/10 ICW/Copahee Sound

Launched about 4 PM and fished the incoming tide. Worked the down-current side of lots of oyster mounds and points back in Copahee Sound for about 2-1/2 hours with just a bunch of small sharks to show for it. Water was a little murkier than I expected, wind was a little worse too, blowing with the current. Saw lots of mullet and shrimp brewing the surface. Couldn’t get a bite on any of the artificials and only sharks on finger mullet. Hit a bank right along the ICW on the way back in that was mixed grass and shells, finally got the skunk off the day with a 30" red on finger mullet on the bottom right at the edge of the grass. Great fight with several hard runs, and a nice photo op before release. Headed in and called it a day.
