Saltwater Fly-Fishing

Ocean cooperated finally…well at least half the day…left the house at 10 and put in at Folly…headed out to find some targets…lots of weed lines starting in shallow but they ended after 70’. Headed for the E. Banks but stopped short…found a pallet in 110’ and it was loaded with peanuts…must have been a hundred swimming around it…had a blast on the fly… flying fish imitation did the trick…the light spinning rod was a hoot as well …We kept 15 for a fathers day fish fry…released another 15 or so…fun half day on the water. Scooted home at 30 knots between the storms…
