Headed out with Capt. Joey on Chasin Bills around noon sunday in hopes to catch a Blue before dark and swordfish during the night. Put lines in the water around 2:00 and didn’t see the first knock down until 3:45. Nice 20 pound dolphin hits the box. Lines back out circled back to the knock down spot and picked up another nice dolphin. Kept working around the same area and the flat line started screaming. Huge bull smoked a lure. Awesome strike and plenty of good jumps. Quick fight and the beast hit the ice. After that we started trolling towards the swordfish numbers where we picked up a couple more nice dolphin on the way. Called it quits on the troll and rigged up for swordfish. Drift was really fast which didn’t help but managed to get two knock downs. Lost one of them and the other was a shorty a couple inches from dying. Seas were flat and an awesome experience out there. Decided to troll at sun rise and hooked up with a sail. Pulled lines in and hit the hill. Awesome trip. Out of the five dolphin smallest was 15-20 and biggest ill let y’all guess.

Yeah all we have been catching is a bunch of slingers lately, glad things shifted.
