Had lines in the water near Comanche at 6:30 and the first slinger mahi in the boat by 6:45. At 7:30 another slinger and then things went dead for the next few hours. We then trolled out to 150’ with very little sign of anything. As everyone else has said, it was slow. Between 10:00 and Noon we picked up 2 more slingers, 1 peanut and a Cuda. All in all my buddy and I were pleased as it was our second trip to deeper water. On the way in we saw small capsized that to be around 17’ or 18’. The motor had been ripped off and there was no anchor line or anything holding it in place. I hope it ended up sinking because in the dark it could cause some issues.
