Today was A tough pill to swallow.Arrived at landing ,no plug. Borrowed plug from friend and we are in the water. No trim tabs, riding bow high you got to race what you brung. Set up at 180 ft. at day break. Working hard out to 360 ft. where we found plenty of grass. No Fish, not even a bite. Heck we could not catch grass. I have a 12 year old boy and his dad who has never been offshore and although the sea is nice they would like to at least see a fish. Around 11.30 back in 200 ft. dad hooks up, we boat A nice phin. At 1.00, jr. hooks up and boats his first phin also in 200 ft. Wow,that sure was a welcome relief. Just a slow day for us. Both fish were nice size. Caught them both on mono, the biggest on a naked ballyhoo.
Hey…good seas … a nice fish for the 2 friends…Sounds like a great trip to me…the trim tab thing probly was a little uncomfy though

We put 1 bull in the boat at 315ft . Hooked up on 4 big little tunny at once that woke everyone up. Still had a blast with good friends. The best thing about the day was when i drawed a circle around a renagade with twin 225s on it priceless. “team hawaii” lol

Team Hawaii, what can I say. You dudes are cool, crayon eaten, snazzy dressing, trash talking, fast driving, hard fishing bunch of heehaws. You all helped to make our day. Thanks for the bait, plug and entertainment. Yes you did, priceless!
