Always read post but never really post a report but thought this might be a good time to start. Went out Saturday with a bumpy ride to get to 135ft but wanted to fish too bad to turn back. Fish on within 2 minutes but was a peanut and the hook pulled. Before we could get the line back in the water the flat line screamed. Thought it was another Mahi until we saw the bill as a nice Sail came out of the water. Never caught a Sail so it was pretty exciting. Got it to the boat for some nice pictures and successful release after reading suggestions here for a couple of years. Had steady action all day and thought we were going to run out of ballyhoo by 10am but slowed a little. Ended with 6 nice gaffers, 3 slingers, 1 30lb wahoo, and first Sail. Great ride home and worth the soreness to make it out. All fish caught between 130ft and 220ft. Brother went out of town to miss our third trip this year. This one upset him the most.
Nice trip and nice first post! Lets see the sail!!
