Put in at W.O. Thomas and headed towards the harbor. Hit a number of spots along the bank and various creeks. No luck except a few rays. Turned around after the Cosgrove bridge and did the same on the return trip. Found a spot that finally showed some promise. Right away hit a bull red and lost him at the edge of the boat, a couple rays, then another bull red(possibly the same?)popped the line while trying to net him. Followed with a few more rays and a 10" trout thrown in the mix. Nothing to bring home but at least got some action. Everything happened on the first two hours of the incoming tide using mud minows(couldn’t net a shrimp to save my life). Drifted some on a weighted hook but most were caught on a cajun thunder rig w/ 18" leader and weighted hook on the very edge of the grass.
