Headed out at 8 with two buddies and kids. Smooth ride from Wappoo to Sumter . No problem finding bait. Fished south jetty. Inside. Slow until tide turned. 24 inch flounder started the incoming fishing. 36 inch red next. Live bait produced better. Cut bait kept kids occupied with BSB. Moved into ICW as wind picked up. Fished live baits under corks at grass line. Four hook ups in about thirty minutes. One felt like it had big shoulders. The eight year old did his best but got cut off. Other three landed. Two upper slot, last one just under. Wet ride back because we were pushing hard. Picked up moms and went swimming in the Stono. Great day!
