6-2 diving and bottom fishing. Big hog video

Lots of Hogfish but not a single grouper.
Vis was about 45-50’ and not much thermocline. Did well bottom fishing with good size Bliners and Black Sea bass. Caught a lot more than we kept.

Rob, how do those slipper lobsters eat compared to the spinys?

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

The slippers are just as good if not better i think.

X2 on the slippers.

As far as the hog, it’s amazing how such a gorgeously ugly fish can be so delicious! Lol!

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

Awesome trip!

Glad to see some decent vis, the water up our way has been murky nasty but hopefully after this NE we will get some clean water in.

Nice catch, great pictures. Thanks for shareing! That big hog is one ugly SOB.

Nicely done! I agree with slipper comment as well.
