At it again at MI out to the 3 mile mark , Lots of boats getting Spanish at the mouth of the inlet in the morning. Do they use them for bait ??? They didn’t seem very big ! I had a very exciting experience
out at 3 miles with a fish I wasn’t ready for Tackle wise … a large Cobia decide to teach me a lesson . At first glance behind the boat I thought another shark , wasn’t putting up that much of a fight. Then as it came along side of the boat WOW what a big Beautiful FISH this was no shark and that’s when he decided to show me how much power he had . My gear was no match for him, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it 
Oh yeah same stuff on the bottom lots of small BSB , pinfish , lizard fish , again great water and VERY HOT no wind ??? Gave it a shot for a sheephead back around the jetty but no luck
