anyone going tonight
I am pulling out 530am tomorrow morning, but not tonight…
I went but not in my boat and really didn’t fish more so kicked back relaxing with a buddy and his wife. I did watch though and saw only a few down lines by the towers and nothing in other normal hot spots. JPRU have fun fishing on a Saturday… this time of year I don’t bother hitting the water except Mon-Thurs when all the weekend folks are gone. Anyhow look for a report Monday night… we should be hitting the water that morning. If you’re going out before that check 40-70 feet of water and watch for humps then anchor and ignore rather the depth finder shows fish. God Bless, Coach B

we went last night took a first timmer and caught 10 or 12 fishing was slow and had to look all over for fish most bites were in 120 foot of water on down rod at 70 foot i will add some pics later
Great job… I heard four boats limited in less then 3 hours yesterday on the Lexington side of the lake below Spence. Everything there was 60-70 feet on humps. God Bless, Coach B
As always stop in at Lake World to get the most up to date info.

i always stop at lake world for bait and ifo they are great we fished the humps but found only one or two moved into the deeper water and caught the rest
fished friday afternoon…marked plenty of fish in 154’ water in front of Spence Island…fishing hanging around 80’…moving up to 40’ the later it got…we fished down rods from 25’—50’…one shortie caught…two hits missed…that was it…
I must be doing something wrong…
what time did you stop the we got most of our bites 30 min before sunset also trolling can help we trolled after trying our first two spots once we caught one we through the marker out and then drifted with livies
we fished until 9:15…well after sundown…drifting in that wind would have been difficult…would have moved us at trolling speed…
when the wind is blowing you can tie a 5 gallon bucket to a string and drop it over or you might need two depending on the size of your boat or try a drift sock trolling motors work if you put the bow into the wind and set it to keep you in one spot
I have an 18’ center console. We use a 5-gallon bucket over each side. With my 115 Johnson it slows us to 2 mph, perfect trolling speed. Heading into the wind/current, we have even gotten down to 1.5. We only were able to fish during the day Saturday, so were skunked without live bait and only trolling…
I never do as good when the wind is blowing. I still get a few but it seems like if the wind is under 5 mph I do best.
