6-24 SWB to GTH

Slow was the word for us yesterday!

had lines in at 7:30 didnt get our first strike until 10 (missed sail). An hour later we get a double, small wahoo and smaller dolphin. Got to GTH and saw some tunas working, hooked one with the rubber hooked rig. Missed another sail offshore of the hole and called it a day. We had a great time with good friends onboard and looking forward to doing it again!

Did you go out there in your Pioneer? How does that 220 handle offshore?

We were on a different boat yesterday.

I have only had the 220 offshore once. I was very impressed with the way it handled the water!

Slow was the word, we trolled from 6:45 -11:00 w/ nothing but weeds and 2 spit hooks. Decided to hit some live bottom near SWB and picked up mixed bag of bottom dwellers. 2 first timers on the boat with me and didn’t want to chance the skunk. Trolled a little on the way in on a weedline and picked up a Mr. Cuda. Seems like those perfect weather days don’t ever yeild much fish.
