6/24

Had a busy day and strong afternoon bite fishing straight out. 6 gaffers, 4 slingers, BFT, kingfish, 42# wahoo, bonita, cuda, cut-offs, missed fish, etc. Fished 130 - 280 ft, with most fish caught on the ledge. Good day, good crew - life is good. Didn’t see another boat all day.

I hope you’re lying. Otherwise you’re just pissing me off!!! (Only kidding). Yeah but did you have any tangles?

Congrats on a good stay and staying afloat.

I realized you may not have recognized the source.

sounds like a fun day! congrats! the blackfin, were they busting or just a suprise?

Thomas

the quicekst way to an angler is through his fly

Stickman - tangle free day. We’ll save those for your next trip.

The BFT was mixed in with the other fish and was small maybe 8 lb. We lost one on the way to the boat, and caught the other later in the day. Didn’t see them busting, but it was good to know they are around.

John,
Great job out. SOunds like a great day on the water

What lure/bait combo did the wahoo hit if you don’t mind? And was it on a planer or surface?

The wahoo hit a green switch on the long outrigger rigged on 12 ft of 80# flourocarbon with a short wire trace crimped on for a little added insurance.

I hope you didn’t let Jake clean the fish. Glad to hear you guys had a good trip. Did you have a chance to use the rods I brought you?

Ron - all the fish made it into the coolers this time. Dale did a great job on cleaning the dolphin. Best cuts around the backbone I have seen. We kept Jake on boat duty and he had it shining as usual.
