6-26 Best worst luck

Found the fish…couldn’t keep them on the line. Wouldn’t change the way we did it…sharp hooks, good tackle, just one of those days. Ended the day with 8 dolphin but not much size. Lost a big dolphin and also lost 2 mystery fish we never really slowed down that just pulled the hook…didn’t jump and went deep so I’m thinking wahoo or possibly big blackfin. Also hooked a white in the morning that pulled loose after a few jumps, then same thing in the afternoon followed by a sailfish also pulling loose after a few jumps. Had a nice blue in the spread that hit one bait but we were running wild with 2 dolphin on and a sail that no one got to the rod quick enough to drop it back. Overall great day finding the fish, but not much to show for it. Heading back out this weekend and hopefully better luck!

8 dolphin
0 for 2 on whites
0 for 1 on sails

Sounds like a great day, congrats

Local Boy, Just having fun.

Man, sounds like a nice day full of action, wish I could talk the crew into goin deep this weekend, they’re bent on some diving.

Good job Bobby, missed fish is wayy better than no action. How deep where the whites & sails?

that sounds like a super fun day…quite the opposite of a day full of barracudas or ajs that u landed at the boat right?
congrats

Pat, most of the action was between 250’ and 300’ with about 280’ being the best. No strong weedline, but some scattered stuff and tons of flyers.
