6/26 bottom action

Left out of Charleston around 7:30am for 80 feet. Seas were a bit confused with a sw wind. Bottom fishing was a little challenging as the wind and current made the drift a little faster. Caught mixed bag which included ars, silver snapper, b-liner, cobia, ajs, bsb, shark. Kept a nice cobia, a few plus sized snapper and bsb. Saw the biggest shark I have ever seen cruising around the boat while we were drifting must have been over 12 feet. Caught the keeper cobia on a green and white jig that was hanging out with the shark.

Good day on the water. Ride home was terrible as the sw wind really picked up and the large severe thunder storm with tornado warning as we hit the rocks.

Special thanks to Capt Jordan for hanging out nearby and allowing me to hang out near his chum slick.

Will post pics in next couple of days.

Luckily we came in after the storms had passed. The seas were terrible though.

Good job, Cliff. Sounds like a nice haul, and glad y’all got back to the hill safely.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Glad you all did well. Had a great time as well. It certainly had kicked up when we turned in for the hill.
