Will swallow pride and post report from yesterday. Fished from 130 out to 250 with essentially nothing. 4 small dolphin, all inshore of ledge. Fair weeline at 220 ft or so, no action there. Sloppy sea most of the day, kept us from bottom fishing around the ledge. Laid down enough to fish some numbers in 70 ft to get dinner. Ended up with 10 BSBs, 2 vermillion, couple of grunts and 2 released red snapper and of course a few AJs. Hope his helps someone. Now to go refuel.
Thanks for the report - sometimes the reports of slow days are more helpful than than those of big ones. Glad you were able to find a few on the bottom.
We fished 6/27. Started at 150 inside the Deli. Trolled out to 600+ in 82 degree clear blue water. No temp changes, on birds, no sea life. Lots of weeds. Back in at 150 we got in to some big little tuny. Biggest was 15lbs. Not much to show for a day that was a “solunar 5” Trolled everything from cowbells to ballyhoo. I gotta figure out how to do better.
I’m going to try Roffs or Hilton Charts next time.
