Got on the water around 10 this morning. Menhaden were thick. Easy bait, also caught some shrimp and mullet. Shark seemed to be the only ones interested in eating today. Had one screamer that spit out the hook in-tact after about ten seconds. Other than that, just a bunch of small shark today.
Bulls bay has been discouraging. Red drum seem spread thin around there. No trout either.
Were you fishing open water, grass banks & creek mouths? And in what areas? Just curious. Used to spend a lot of time there.
Water appears a bit dingy.
I fished the grass line and a few creek mouths in the red area. I put some plastics out too. No action on plastics.

We fished just north of Bulls Bay on Tuesday. Pretty much the same story. Started at low tide trying to find Red Drum in some creeks holding water. Caught one small flounder and no other hits. As the tide rose we moved to submerged shell banks that are usually pretty good for trout. Nothing. Moved a couple of times. Nothing. Still, a nice day on the water.
BB was pretty dry last year. too Caught 1 slot red there all year. 2 or 3 bull reds. Not a lot of luck on shrimp season. Oysters are good there. That’s about it.

Bulls Bay has been pretty difficult for me as well the past few years. I’ve surprisingly caught more reds on the grass line of the ICW rather than venning Creek, Anderson creek, etc. so you aren’t alone sadly
