My kids always beg to open up the stomachs after we clean to see what they are eating. I have to say, I’ve never pulled plastic out of their bellies before! Nice catch. Way to go!
The bait shop and hardware store should be next to each other. I like to pull rubber dog chew toys, especially hotdogs (gotta have mustard). Sometimes tipped w plumbers tape to add flash. Gets a little busy when ur pullin a spread of dogs tho…they can’t stand’em #128514;
That’s cool video. It’s interesting that the fish seems to be checking out the bait up close a few times before finally deciding to eat.
Looks like your pulling a natural bait? Wonder if the smell just got the best of him and he couldn’t resist.

Gives you a good idea about all the trash there is out there. Kinda sad…that plastic won’t digest and will often kill the fish.

I guess you just kind of dynamited my theory that the dolphin got a whiff of the natural bait before deciding to bite. I’m assuming that plastic didn’t have much odor before he ate it.
