Fished today around the comanche hoping for some shallow dolphin, but obnly found one all day. Lines in at 7:25 fish in the box at 7:34 small slinger. Two short strikes the rest of the day. Headed for the hill at 10:15 in fear of a rough and wet ride home. Guess the dolphin arent in close quite yet. Maybe the new moon had them screwed up at least I like to think so. What are y’alls thoughts on the new moon and fishing.

New moon, hot weather, warming sea surface temps, wrong song on the CD player, I don’t know why the bite has shut down like it has but what ever turned it off needs to turn it back on.:imp:

tlread, there are some dolphin in shallow. We found some fish on saturday in 115-120ft. Started in 90 and worked out a little ways, never found any life until 110ft. Lots of flyers
