Left out of shem creek about 445 with one other boat (that shoulda been a sign right there lol ) headed out toward the 226 hole again. Why? because we’ve been catching fish. Pretty decent ride out nice rollers with backs to them so it wasn’t too rough. Saw some flyers in 130 ft and some scattered grass so decided to drop in with no luck. So we pushed out to deeper water. Flyers jumping all over so we put in at 160 (depth the last few trips produced) Picked up 1 in 175’ at 10:30 worked 170 to 200’ back and forth all day with the chopped up grass had a few short strikes and a get off picked up #2 at 1:00. Headed for the hill at 245 with no other luck. Bumpy but dry ride in running with em. Not a great day but the 23’ sea fox got us out and back to the hill and both the boys got to catch fish.
Same here. Brought in 1 at 300’ near SW Banks. Plenty of weeds and flyers all day but no such luck on the bite. Even the bottom wasn’t too good to us either. Got to have one bad day to go with the 10 good ones though.
