Left out of Wappoo around 0400 lines in by 0615. Had the all star crew of MCM, Nut3, and his son Austin. Headed to the Terrace where we pretty much picked at the dolphin all day. Ended the day with 7 gaffers and went 0 for 2 on Sails. Have to give a big shout out to Nut3’s son Austin as he absolutely whipped the dolphin. Also, that young man can work a bote too! Will have to do it again before I leave. Pictures should be coming soon from MCM.
Sounds like another great day .congrats .wish you guy’s had hooked the sails.great to have good help in the cockpit

I heard that someone showed you all the Berkeley County method for reeling in slinger dolphin with 50# tackle. The method is affectionately known as “ski-n-box,” and the best part is the look on everyone’s faces when we do it. I heard even Austin learned how yesterday…

Ski-n-box - I assume your talking about pulling the slingers head out of the water and ski’ing him across the surface and then dropping him straight into the box?

Can’t go this weekend. Fathers day kids etc. Basically, wife has put my boat in storage before I have. But, I will go Thursday, and maybe next weekend. After that I will be headed out.
