Left the dock around 8:30 and had a nice ride out in the fog. We fished 5 or 6 spots ranging from 60 to 90 foot. The first 4 or 5 spots were ok but nothing great. We managed a couple of snapper, triggers, bsb’s and grunts off those. We went to our final spot around noon and the fish were there. We couldn’t get the bait halfway to the bottom before triggers and bsb’s swarmed it. The triggers were so hungry every time we brought a fish up to the boat there was another dozen following it. This was the first time I have seen triggers do that. We also had 10 or so cobia get under the boat at one point but there were no takers. We finished the day with plenty of big bsb’s, couple snapper/grunts and all the triggers I wanted to clean.
